Leonor Rivera Fuller

Leonor has been working as an attorney at Fuller & Fuller since 1991. She was awarded Juris Doctor, Master of Arts, and Bachelor of Arts degrees from the University of Washington. Leonor has also studied in Spain at the University of Seville. Leonor previously taught Spanish and English as a Second Language at the University of Washington.

Over the course of her legal career, she has served as a criminal prosecutor and an Assistant City Attorney for the City of Seattle Law Department. She has argued cases in municipal, district, superior, and appellate courts. Leonor has tried close to 80 jury trials in criminal and civil cases, and has tried hundreds of criminal bench trials. Currently, Leonor devotes her time to helping people with personal injury and medical malpractice claims.

Leonor is also actively involved in many professional and community organizations. She has served as the Chair of the Women of the Washington State Association for Justice. She was also one of the original board members of the Washington State Association for Justice Foundation, an organization that supports the appellate program of the Washington State Association for Justice. Leonor was appointed by the Olympia City Council to serve on the Olympia Arts Commission, where she has served in the capacity of Chair of the Commission. Governor Locke then appointed her to the Board of Trustees of the South Puget Sound Community College, a five member board that establishes appropriate policies of governance for the college. Leonor served as Chair of the Board of Trustees of the College from 2004 to 2006.

She is a member of the Washington State Association for Justice, the Washington State Bar Association, and is admitted to practice in the United States District Court (Western Washington) and the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.

Leonor is married to Jay Fuller, another attorney in the firm. They have two sons. She is fluent in Spanish and also in Tagalog, the language of the Philippines. Her hobbies include photography, hiking, skiing, and other endeavors she enjoys with her active family.

Leonor's active lifestyle has brought its share of injuries, which Leonor has successfully overcome. She advises her clients regarding the positive outcomes that can result even after an injury. Leonor does this by guiding clients in the decisions they make as they overcome their own injuries.
